By downloading, installing, or using the Quizia application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Luan Bajrami ("Developer," "we," "our," or "us"), the developer of Quizia.
Quizia is a free-to-play, real-time multiplayer quiz game. The App allows you to:
The App is provided free of charge. There are currently no real-money in-app purchases, subscriptions, or advertisements. Owls can only be earned through play — they cannot be bought with, or exchanged for, real money.
To use Quizia, you must either create a full account (with an email and password, or by signing in with Google or Apple) or play as a guest. You agree to:
Guest accounts: you may play Quizia without registering by choosing "Play as Guest." Guest accounts use anonymous authentication and are assigned an auto-generated username and avatar. Guest accounts have limited functionality — you cannot access friends, challenges, or leaderboards. You may convert a guest account to a full account at any time by linking an email and password or a Google/Apple account; all your game data (match history, ratings, XP, achievements, Owls) is preserved. Signing out of a guest account is irreversible — anonymous accounts cannot be signed back into, so signing out permanently deletes the account and all associated data.
Age requirement: you must be at least 13 years old to create an account or play as a guest. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the App.
Usernames: must be 3–16 characters, containing only letters, numbers, and underscores. We reserve the right to reject, change, or remove any username that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be offensive, misleading, impersonating another person, or in violation of these Terms. Usernames are publicly visible to all players.
One account per person: you may only maintain one active Quizia account. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate ratings, evade bans, or circumvent restrictions is prohibited.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates these rules, including account suspension or permanent termination.
Your ELO ratings, experience points (XP), levels, achievements, win/loss records, leaderboard positions, in-game currency ("Owls"), cosmetic items (avatars, frames), streaks, chests, quest rewards, and all other in-game metrics and progress ("Virtual Items") are part of the Service and do not constitute your property.
Quizia uses an ELO rating system to rank players competitively. The following rules apply:
All content in the App — including quiz questions, answer options, game mechanics, visual design, animations, sounds, user interface, and branding — is the property of Quizia or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, or create derivative works based on any content from the App without our prior written consent.
Your content: your username and display name remain yours, but by using the App you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display them within the App (on leaderboards, in match results, on friend lists, and in search results). This license terminates when you delete your account.
By us: we reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without prior notice, for violations of these Terms. This includes but is not limited to: cheating, harassment, offensive content, rating manipulation, multi-accounting, or abuse of game systems. Upon termination, all Virtual Items and data associated with your account will be permanently deleted.
By you: you may delete your account at any time through the App (Profile → Settings → Delete Account) or by contacting us at luanbajrami68@gmail.com. See our Account Deletion page and Privacy Policy for details on what data is deleted and what is anonymized.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. AS QUIZIA IS A FREE SERVICE, THIS AMOUNT IS ZERO (€0).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Informal resolution first: before filing any formal legal action, you agree to contact us at luanbajrami68@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Most concerns can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
Governing law: these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of North Macedonia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Jurisdiction: any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the competent courts of North Macedonia.
EU consumer rights: if you are an EU consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory consumer protection rights under the laws of your country of residence. You may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
Severability: if any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
The App uses Firebase services operated by Google LLC for authentication, data storage, analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications, and Railway Corporation for hosting the real-time game server. If you sign in with Google or Apple, those providers' terms also apply. Your use of the App is also subject to:
We are not responsible for the availability, reliability, or practices of any third-party services.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
For significant changes that materially affect your rights or obligations, we may provide additional notice through the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the App and delete your account.
